GRACE POINT United Pentecostal Church

Our Pastor

Praise The LORD!

My name is Pastor Lark Lewis and I would like to take a moment to share with you the rich heritage that I have been blessed to have received in my ministry. At the age of just 14 years old, I felt the calling of God on my life and began to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.  A few years later at the age of 17, I received my local license with the United Pentecostal Church International and began full time evangelism for the next five years.  At age 22 I received my general license and began to pastor a church in McClure, Illinois.  I later received my ordination at the age of 30.

In 1984 I came to the city of High Point, NC and started the First United Pentecostal Church which is now Grace Point.  I have been blessed to be here for 30 years and have now pastored for almost 34 years. The preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been my whole life.  Following in the  footsteps of my grandfather and my father who were both Apostolic preachers, myself and my two brothers and my sister who is married to a preacher,  continue this calling and tradition as ministers of this great truth.  I have been blessed with a wonderful heritage in the Apostolic faith.

About Our Church

Grace Point UPC is a part of the

United Pentecostal Church International

We are Pentecostal by experience, Apostolic by doctrine , and Christian by conduct.

We believe in One God who was manifested in the flesh in the body of Jesus Christ and who now fills the church with His Spirit. We baptize in Jesus name by immersion, and receive the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues.

We believe in the power of God to work miracles, and in the transformation of one's life. Through the power of God we can live a holy separated life in this present world. We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto Salvation to save all that will believe. We worship with our hearts by singing, playing musical instruments , clapping our hands and making a joyful noise unto the Lord!

Our Congregation

In Acts 2:39 The Word of God states that, “…the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”  At Grace Point United Pentecostal church in High Point we fully understand that God’s promises are to whosoever will.  With full Spanish services and at least 3 different nationalities represented in our congregation,  the LORD continually demonstrates among His people that truly He is no respecter of persons. We are a multiracial, multinational and multicultural church who is a true representation of God’s people. Come and experience true Pentecost!
